Product Designer – Remote, Europe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of well-defined, ongoing design tasks within a mature product area (likely Deploy), focusing on iterations, enhancements, edge cases, refinement, and consistency, under the guidance of a Senior or Staff Designer.

• Transform identified challenges into clear, production-ready interface designs.

• Exhibit strong foundational skills in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.

• Present examples of your work through a portfolio or tangible work samples throughout the process.

• Collaborate on research efforts alongside a senior team member.

• Conduct targeted user interviews and usability assessments.

• Synthesize findings with support.

• Utilize the design system proficiently.

• Leverage existing resources while identifying gaps when a pattern is absent.

• Collaborate with engineering and PM during implementation.

• Articulate decisions based on reasoning rather than personal preference.

• Contribute design assets to launches and releases with guidance.

• Develop technical proficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in product design, preferably with B2B, technical, or developer-focused products.

• Strong foundational skills in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.

• Proficiency in Figma and contemporary design system practices.

• A portfolio or work samples featuring specific examples for review, showcasing delivered product work, design processes, interaction decisions, and visual craftsmanship.

• Applications lacking examples or a portfolio will not be considered.

• Dependable in managing ongoing, iterative work.

• Effective written and verbal communicator.

• Receptive to feedback and direction.

• Inquisitive about technical users and technical discussions.

• Comfortable utilizing AI tools within your design workflow and eager to explore their potential benefits.
