This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Create comprehensive maternity journeys and features from start to finish, utilizing AI to shorten timelines and explore a wider range of options more efficiently.
• Develop functional, high-fidelity prototypes employing AI-assisted coding tools (such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar), advancing beyond mere static mockups.
• Craft an engaging, adaptive user experience where AI foresees member needs, conveys assurance, and seamlessly connects individuals to human care when necessary.
• Establish protocols for managing uncertainty, implementing AI fallbacks, and preserving trust in critical health scenarios.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Clinical, and Data teams to define MVPs, transform model outputs into user-friendly interfaces, and ensure timely delivery.
• Contribute to our design system by developing scalable AI-driven patterns, including confidence indicators, human-AI handoffs, and the progressive disclosure of AI content.
• Proficient in AI: You actively utilize AI tools (such as Claude, Figma AI, Relume, or similar) with excellent prompting abilities. AI is integral to your work rather than a new exploration.
• Prototype development: You can translate concepts into functional prototypes using AI-assisted coding tools, not merely design files.
• Technical expertise: You have experience deploying code to production and understand how design choices relate to backend architecture and model behavior.
• Product design proficiency: A strong portfolio showcasing a high standard for quality, including edge cases, micro-interactions, and robust user flows, beyond just ideal scenarios.
• Mobile and web experience: Familiarity with designing for mobile applications and responsive web platforms.
• Quick execution: You operate efficiently without compromising quality, prioritizing prototypes over presentations.
• Maven for Mavens: access to the entire platform and specialists, which includes support for mental health, reproductive health, family planning, and pediatrics.
• Comprehensive self-care through wellness partnerships.
• Hybrid working environment, inclusive of in-office meals and collaborative workdays.
• 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave and a new parent stipend (for Mavens who have been with us for over one year).
• Annual professional development stipend and the opportunity to work with a personal career coach through Maven for Mavens.
• 401K matching for US-based employees, with immediate vesting.
