This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Serve as a product designer within a collaborative full-stack product team, contributing to team objectives and shared KPIs.
• Oversee the design process during the discovery phase: from defining the problem and clarifying tasks to formulating hypotheses, concepts, validation, and final delivery.
• Convert intricate business processes into scalable user experience solutions for a Web SaaS CRM platform.
• Create interfaces for multi-step workflows, admin dashboards, configuration processes, tables, roles, permissions, and various operational scenarios.
• Consider solutions that extend beyond a single use case or client request, ensuring they are applicable across diverse companies, industries, and business models.
• Derive abstractions from specific business cases and transform them into reusable and adaptable product patterns.
• Question requirements and product assumptions by posing “what if” inquiries: what if there are 10 options, 100 scenarios, different user roles, or alternative business processes?
• Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, contextual inquiries, and workflow analyses to identify user needs, business logic, constraints, and points of friction.
• Generate hypotheses and validate them through prototypes, usability testing, analytics, and iterative feedback.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to comprehend technical limitations, implementation logic, APIs, frontend constraints, and system dependencies.
• Create comprehensive design documentation that aids engineers in understanding not just the visual aspect of the interface, but the rationale behind its functionality.
• Utilize existing design system components and patterns; contribute to the evolution of Kyivstar’s corporate design system when current solutions are inadequate.
• Leverage product analytics and qualitative feedback to assess the effects of design choices and enhance usability, efficiency, and scalability.
• Ensure design quality during implementation by conducting design QA to confirm that the final product aligns with both visual standards and product intent.
• Optionally employ AI-based tools, prototyping tools, low-code/no-code, or vibe-coding techniques to explore ideas, organize tasks, validate assumptions, or expedite design workflows.
• Over 4 years of product design experience in roles such as Product Designer, UX Designer, or a similar position, ideally within SaaS, B2B, B2B2C, CRM, support tools, communication platforms, or complex operational products.
• Proficiency in discovery processes: adept at tackling ambiguous problems, framing tasks, recognizing constraints, forming hypotheses, and guiding product direction prior to UI execution.
• Systems thinking: capability to perceive a product as a system comprising roles, workflows, scenarios, permissions, configurations, and business rules rather than merely a collection of screens.
• Conceptual thinking: proficiency in transitioning from a specific client request to a more abstract, scalable solution, and then reformulating it into a tangible interface.
• Expertise in complex interface design: considerable experience creating admin dashboards, dashboards, tables, multi-step workflows, configuration interfaces, role-based experiences, and workflow-intensive products.
• B2B/SaaS perspective: understanding of how products function across various companies, teams, roles, and business processes; ability to design for multiple customer contexts.
• Technical comprehension: solid grasp of frontend development principles, including responsive layouts, components, constraints, and modern web interface logic; basic knowledge of HTML/CSS concepts like flexbox is advantageous.
• Collaboration with engineers: aptitude for engaging in discussions about trade-offs, implementation complexity, technical limitations, and product feasibility with developers.
• Research and analytics experience: familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, such as user interviews, usability testing, workflow analysis, product analytics, and feedback synthesis.
• Argumentation skills: ability to articulate and justify design decisions, compare alternatives, outline consequences, and demonstrate the appropriateness of specific solutions.
• Critical thinking: capacity to question requirements, avoid jumping to the most obvious solution, and consider edge cases, future scalability, and long-term product effects.
• Experience with design systems: hands-on experience utilizing and expanding component libraries; familiarity with structured design systems and Figma libraries.
• Proficiency in tools: strong skills in Figma and prototyping tools; ability to present design work effectively to stakeholders and developers.
• Communication abilities: excellent collaboration skills, comfort working within Agile/Scrum teams, and proficiency in communicating clearly in both Ukrainian and English.
• Choose between office-based or remote work — the decision is yours.
• Remote onboarding process.
• Performance bonuses available for all employees: either annual or quarterly, depending on the role.
• Opportunities for learning through the company’s library, internal resources, and partnerships.
• Health and life insurance coverage.
• Wellbeing program and access to a corporate psychologist.
• Reimbursement for expenses related to Kyivstar mobile communication.
