Product Design Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• - Create a unified system. Transform a fragmented multi-app experience into a cohesive one. Develop a design system that enables faster delivery while maintaining a consistent look, ensuring an Arabic-first approach with proper RTL implementation.

• - Tackle complex workflows. Design fleet dashboards rich in data, create a driver flow that is efficient for one-handed use at a pump, and build a wallet that caters to both anxious first-time users and SAMA. You will take the lead on these projects.

• - Own the B2C application entirely. Our consumer app is in its early stages, and you will be responsible for its design, from high-level direction to minute details, as well as the connections between a company's fleet and the personal vehicles of its employees.

• - Focus on our processes, not just our outputs. We believe that AI will revolutionize how design, product, and engineering collaborate, not just what appears on screens. You will spearhead this initiative, testing new tools and methodologies to identify those that enhance our efficiency and guide the rest of the organization. Curiosity is an essential part of this role.

• - Make decisions based on evidence, not assumptions. Utilize usability tests, analytics, and genuine feedback from drivers and administrators. Our decisions are grounded in data.

• - Foster a strong team and a high standard. Mentor current designers, assist in recruiting new talent, and conduct reviews that elevate everyone's work to a higher quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• - Have over 7 years of experience designing real products, with valuable lessons learned from leading complex projects.

• - Have successfully built a design system that continued to thrive beyond your involvement.

• - Have experience in both B2B SaaS and consumer domains, ideally in environments where financial or regulatory challenges added complexity.

• - Think in terms of systems and user journeys, rather than just individual screens.

• - Be able to demonstrate business impact, not just aesthetically pleasing work.

• - Be proficient in Figma and actively incorporate AI into your daily activities, while also embracing new tools and methodologies to improve team productivity.

• - Have experience shipping Arabic/RTL products, or possess a strong desire to learn. This is a fundamental requirement, not an afterthought.

• - Maintain composure when faced with vague briefs and tight timelines, as both will be common.
