Product Deployment Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee operational readiness and field testing for new R&D products, focusing mainly on drones and robotics platforms.

• Conduct hands-on installations and pilot testing in real-world environments.

• Identify operational challenges and enhance product design and installation processes.

• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Hardware Operations to create deployment playbooks, field documentation, and internal training resources.

• Develop, validate, and standardize field processes during the initial pilot phases.

• Transfer established deployment workflows to downstream field operation teams.

• Monitor deployment metrics, field performance issues, and hardware malfunctions.

• Promote continuous improvements back into R&D product engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Willingness to travel up to 75% nationwide, typically from Monday to Thursday, for 4 to 5 days a week, often at short notice.

• Demonstrated experience in field engineering, robotics, or technical product deployment in an R&D or hardware product setting.

• Currently possess an FAA Part 107 commercial drone pilot certification or the ability to acquire it within the first 90 days.

• Proven capability in hands-on hardware fabrication, debugging, and installations in field environments.

• Ability to work independently to address unclear technical challenges and establish operational processes where none existed before.

• Strong technical communication skills to collaborate with engineering teams and effectively present field findings to internal stakeholders.

• Valid, unrestricted driver's license and a driving record that meets company motor vehicle standards.

• Must meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) certification requirements, including compliance with FBI CJIS Security Policy and a fingerprint-based background check, if necessary.

• Authorization to work legally in the United States.

• Capability to obtain and maintain any required work certifications, if applicable.
