Product Compliance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide regulatory oversight by assessing state insurance requirements.

• Draft, review, and revise policy forms as necessary.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Manage the filing process to ensure timely product approvals.

• Act as the primary liaison with State Insurance Departments.

• Ensure that regulatory decisions, approvals, and exemptions are thoroughly documented.

• Maintain governance over filing documentation, approvals, and regulatory records.

• Ensure that Assurant products and filings comply with relevant regulatory frameworks.

• Provide guidance and oversight for the preparation and submission of state compliance filings.

• Assess filing obligations and determine when exemptions are applicable.

• Support corporate governance initiatives.

• Contribute to efforts aimed at mitigating regulatory risk.

• Ensure compliance with state-driven deadlines and regulatory commitments.

• Oversee the preparation and submission of filings via SERFF.

• Coordinate filing fee payments and necessary certifications.

• Facilitate prompt communication regarding regulatory approvals and requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate's degree is required.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Property and Casualty insurance sector.

• Paralegal or Insurance designation is advantageous.

• Excellent written, drafting, editing, and grammatical abilities.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Capability to work under ambiguity and adapt to frequently changing priorities.

• Strong time management skills.

• Solid data entry capabilities.

• Familiarity with insurance terminology and the ability to research industry regulations.

• Knowledge of SERFF and/or experience in submitting state filings is preferred.

• Ability to align compliance with business and company strategies and directives.
