Product Analytics Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Lead and establish a new analytics team focused on driving product growth using data-driven insights and AI-enhanced analysis.

• Define and implement the analytics roadmap, facilitating proactive analyses to identify growth opportunities.

• Develop and mentor a high-performing team of analysts, promoting excellence in SQL, visualization, and statistical methodologies.

• Advocate for AI integration to enhance analytical workflows and reveal deeper product insights.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers as their main data partner, translating complex findings into straightforward, actionable recommendations.

• Work alongside data engineers and implementation specialists to prioritize tracking, define schemas, and steer data modeling efforts.

• Equip broader analytics teams through training on behavioral data utilization, querying best practices, and dataset documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Product Analytics or Digital Analytics with significant domain expertise.

• Demonstrated people management skills, including hiring and nurturing analytical talent.

• Advanced SQL proficiency for handling large datasets, including window functions, CTEs, and nested JSON data management.

• Strong foundation in A/B testing—calculating sample sizes, defining metrics, and assessing statistical significance.

• Experience creating impactful business dashboards utilizing tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.

• Practical experience analyzing raw client-side tracking data from platforms such as GA4, Snowplow, or Amplitude.
