• **About the position**
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to influence product decisions by analyzing user behavior, funnel performance, feature impact, experimentation, and conversion rates. Transform product data into actionable insights regarding what to develop, enhance, discontinue, or test next.
• **Performance objectives**
• *Objective 1 - Manage product analytics and KPIs*
• Outcome: Continuous and clear visibility into activation, engagement, conversion, retention, and feature adoption across the platform.
• Typical tasks:
• - Oversee analytics related to onboarding, rankings, quizzes, comparisons, firm pages, and checkout processes.
• - Define and track product KPIs.
• - Maintain product dashboards utilized by the Product, Engineering, and Leadership teams.
• - Investigate anomalies and highlight trends on a weekly basis.
• *Objective 2 - Develop and sustain product funnels*
• Outcome: Faster identification of drop-off points; significant conversion opportunities are highlighted and prioritized.
• Typical tasks:
• - Create product funnels from start to finish across the platform.
• - Identify friction points and assess their impact.
• - Convert findings into prioritized suggestions for Product and Engineering.
• - Validate funnel enhancements before and after changes are made.
• *Objective 3 - Oversee experimentation*
• Outcome: A stronger culture of experimentation; product decisions are based on validation rather than debate.
• Typical tasks:
• - Design, analyze, and document A/B tests.
• - Assist in developing PFM's experimentation framework.
• - Measure feature impact before and after launch.
• - Train product and engineering teams on test design methodologies.
• *Objective 4 - Share insights to guide decision-making*
• Outcome: Alignment among Product, Engineering, and Leadership based on shared evidence; high satisfaction among product teams regarding the quality of insights provided.
• Typical tasks:
• - Generate product performance updates with compelling visual storytelling.
• - Collaborate on roadmap prioritization and measurement of launches.
• - Establish tracking requirements prior to feature launches.
• - Present findings during product reviews and leadership forums.
• **Reporting structure**
• - Reports to: Konstantinos Kattidis, Head of Data & Analytics.
• - Direct reports: None.
• - Key cross-functional collaborators: Product, Engineering, Leadership, Marketing.
• - Upward reporting frequency: Weekly one-on-one with Head of D&A; sprint-level product reviews; quarterly OKR evaluations.
• **Desired qualifications**
• Must have
• - Over 2 years of experience as a Product Analyst or Data Analyst within a product team.
• - Proficient in SQL and product analytics tools (PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar).
• - Experience in experimentation design and A/B testing.
• - Strong statistical mindset - comfortable with significance, power, and segmentation.
• - Skills in visual storytelling - able to present data in a coherent narrative.
• - Excellent written communication skills for asynchronous environments - we operate on a remote-first basis.
• Nice to have
• - Previous experience in fintech, proprietary trading, or B2C SaaS.
• - Familiarity with attribution and funnel analytics at scale.
• - Experience in defining and validating product hypotheses from inception to completion.
• - A commercial mindset focused on outcomes, not merely metrics.

• A defined exercise utilizing actual PFM product data. Anticipate working with user behavior, funnel metrics, or feature performance - the types of challenges you would actually face in this position.
• 5. In-depth Professional interview:
• You will meet the Head of Data & Analytics at PFM to delve into your product analytics expertise - how you define and track metrics, interpret user data, and translate findings into decisions that influence the product roadmap.
• 6. Functional Interview:
• A broader professional discussion exploring how you collaborate with product managers and designers, convey insights to non-technical stakeholders, and tackle ambiguous product questions with limited data.
• 7. Peer & values conversation:
• An interview across teams evaluated against PFM's structured values scorecard. You will meet a peer and a bar raiser from outside the immediate team.
