Product Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +21 more states.

📋 Description

• This role will concentrate on product data and business intelligence.

• Assist in a diverse array of business initiatives such as analytics, reporting, product filings, and the establishment of new product capabilities.

• Collaborate closely with various business and IT departments, including agency operations.

• Support product management by providing essential analytical insights; perform research, execute high-quality analyses, generate reports, and communicate important product performance metrics.

• Create and implement scalable and adaptable data reporting and analysis solutions to meet the team's requirements.

• Oversee product performance/results in conjunction with actuarial, loss analytics, and performance analytics.

• Identify areas of weakness and opportunity based on book performance.

• Work with Product Managers to develop an analytic data-driven strategy.

• Offer guidance, collaboration, and execution of advanced data analysis.

• Engage in testing and quality assurance for various inputs to and outputs from the data warehouse and Business Intelligence applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0-5 years of experience as a product analyst or in similar roles with responsibilities outlined above.

• Strong and advanced understanding of the personal insurance sector.

• Proficient critical thinking, problem-solving, and data analysis abilities.

• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are required.

• Must be a team player with outstanding collaboration skills.

• Advanced expertise in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and SQL.

• Previous experience in Property Casualty insurance is preferred.

• Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.

• Ability to resolve practical issues; handle concrete variables in various situations; and interpret a range of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

• Willingness to adapt to a paperless work environment.
