This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.
• Assist in the creation of exceptional game content and features, ensuring the team meets deadlines while adhering to the defined scope and budget.
• Strategically plan, organize, oversee, and manage project activities across various development areas.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor production schedules, milestone plans, sprint plans, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
• Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams, including design, engineering, art, animation, technical art, QA, and external partners.
• Coordinate efforts across distributed teams and facilitate clear communication across different locations, time zones, and disciplines.
• Serve as a primary contact for clients and publishers, managing feedback, priorities, approvals, and daily production communications.
• Assist with regular milestone deliveries, including planning, tracking, review preparation, and follow-up actions.
• Proactively identify risks and collaborate with leads, the production team, and stakeholders to address blockers or adjust plans as necessary.
• Facilitate and lead meetings, including stand-ups, planning sessions, milestone reviews, client calls, and cross-discipline reviews.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, meeting notes, action items, and status reports.
• Ensure that team objectives, responsibilities, and priorities are clearly articulated and understood.
• Collaborate with leads to enhance team productivity, refine workflows, and boost team morale.
• Aid in the onboarding and integration of new team members into the project.
• Where applicable, assist with console submission planning, compliance tracking, build preparation, and coordination with QA and platform requirements.
• Demonstrated experience as a Producer, Project Manager, or in a similar production role within the gaming industry.
• Background in co-development projects or collaboration with external development partners.
• Proven experience in coordinating distributed teams across multiple locations, time zones, or disciplines.
• Familiarity with the full game development lifecycle, from pre-production through main production to gold master delivery.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills, with experience interacting directly with publishers, clients, or external stakeholders.
• Experience in milestone planning, schedule tracking, sprint planning, task management, risk tracking, and follow-up on deliveries.
• Strong understanding of game development pipelines across various disciplines, including design, engineering, art, animation, QA, and technical art.
• Experience on AAA or large-scale game projects is highly desirable.
• Previous work across a variety of game genres is an advantage.
• Console development experience is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with console manufacturer submissions, platform compliance, TRC/XR/Lotcheck processes, or release certification is a plus.
• Experience in porting or platform adaptation is advantageous.
• Proficient with production and tracking tools such as Jira, Hansoft, Confluence, Notion, Miro, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or comparable tools.
• Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Capable of clear communication, early risk identification, and helping teams remain aligned and focused.
• Proactive, practical, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced development environment.
