Procurement Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Transform category management strategies into technology-driven solutions utilizing PowerBI, Tableau, AI, and automation tools.

• Create innovative tools and templates such as supplier capability heat maps, market analysis dashboards, and performance tracking systems.

• Execute sourcing events using e-sourcing platforms, overseeing everything from event design to supplier selection and awarding.

• Contribute to procurement transformation initiatives by pinpointing process enhancements and applying best practices.

• Regularly manage and update the SharePoint site to ensure materials remain current, accurate, and accessible.

• Assist in the development and organization of training sessions for the category management learning and development program.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of practical experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain operations with proven sourcing execution.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting e-sourcing events using platforms such as Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, or similar tools.

• Background in procurement transformation, operational improvement, or change management initiatives.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, advanced formulas, data modeling, and macros).

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint (including complex slide design, data visualization, and storytelling).

• Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools (such as PowerBI, Tableau, or similar platforms).

• Strong project management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple complex workstreams at once.
