Procurement Manager – Enterprise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Expenditure on technology ranks as one of the largest components of a CFO's budget in enterprises, second only to personnel costs.

• Conventional procurement processes are often seen as frustrating and filled with obstacles in today's business landscape.

• You will be responsible for delivering Vertice’s services across a portfolio of accounts, leveraging Vertice’s extensive delivery capabilities and resources.

• Your role will involve engaging with a diverse range of clients, including some of the fastest-growing and most recognized brands globally, to negotiate SaaS agreements on their behalf.

• You will collaborate closely with Vertice’s account management and sales teams to foster strong relationships with our clientele.

• Acting as the main buy-side contact for our customers, you will ensure their commercial goals are achieved.

• You will partner with clients to devise software commercial category strategies, jointly focusing on areas with the highest commercial impact.

• Engage with senior stakeholders to thoroughly understand their needs, purchasing goals, and technology strategies.

• You are an articulate, confident, and persuasive communicator — whether in writing, dialogue, or in front of C-suite executives.

• You possess experience handling high-volume and high-value transactions from either a buying or selling perspective.

• You will bring substantial negotiation skills to the position, with comprehensive knowledge of the strategies and tactics necessary to achieve optimal results with SaaS vendors.

• You are a creative problem solver who encourages both clients and suppliers to achieve their desired outcomes.

• You excel at managing stakeholder expectations, providing constructive challenges, and ensuring that all key objectives and timelines are fulfilled.

• You will have commercial experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or procurement consulting.
