Procurement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• You will be instrumental in enhancing SaaS procurement for our clients.

• You will collaborate closely to create strategic sourcing plans, manage negotiations with key SaaS providers, and oversee supplier relationships throughout their duration.

• You will be responsible for Vertice’s service delivery across a portfolio of accounts, leveraging Vertice’s extensive delivery capabilities and resources.

• You will engage with a diverse range of clients, including some of the fastest-growing and most renowned companies globally, negotiating SaaS agreements on their behalf.

• You will closely partner with the Vertice account management and sales teams to foster strong relationships with our clients.

• You will serve as the primary buy-side contact for our clients, ensuring their commercial goals are achieved.

• You will collaborate with your clients to formulate software commercial category strategies, jointly focusing on areas that yield the greatest commercial advantage.

• You will engage with senior stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of their requirements, purchasing objectives, and technology strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• You are a clear, confident, and persuasive communicator — whether in writing, conversation, or when addressing C-suite stakeholders.

• You have experience in managing high volume and high value transactions, either in a buying or selling role.

• You bring substantial negotiation expertise to the position, with a thorough understanding of the strategies and levers available to achieve optimal results from SaaS vendors.

• You are a creative thinker who challenges both clients and suppliers to achieve desired outcomes.

• You are skilled at managing stakeholder expectations, providing constructive challenges, and ensuring that all key objectives and timelines are met.

• You possess commercial experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or procurement consulting.
