Procurement Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee the administration of contracts and purchase order requests throughout the project controls function.

• Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews of contract and purchase order documentation, which includes cost coding, templates, scope descriptions, commercial terms, and attachments.

• Maintain quality assurance and quality control checklists and rejection logs, provide feedback on revisions, and monitor resubmissions.

• Record incoming contracts and purchase order requests, capture necessary metadata, assign reference numbers, and uphold version control.

• Audit registers to identify missing entries, incomplete fields, and discrepancies.

• Facilitate contract reviews with internal Meta Legal teams, managing feedback, revisions, redlines, and resubmissions.

• Route authorized contracts and purchase order requests to PartnerOps for execution, tracking signatures, purchase order issuance, and system activation.

• Maintain comprehensive status trackers and generate reports and dashboards for program leadership.

• Identify and escalate issues such as delays, blockers, and breakdowns in processes.

• Verify post-execution filing by cross-referencing documents against project cost codes, WBS elements, and budget line items.

• Confirm the values of executed contracts and purchase orders in the cost management system and perform periodic reconciliations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, along with 5-8 years of relevant experience.

• A combination of experience and education will be taken into account in lieu of a degree.

• C.P.M., C.P.S.M., or N.A.C.M. certifications or eligibility are preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of various information sources.

• Openness to adopting new perspectives on existing solutions.

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Strong organizational skills complemented by an advanced inquisitive mindset.

• Excellent mathematical abilities.

• Capability to perform moderately complex calculations, including percentages, fractions, and other financial-related computations.
