Procurement Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the management of procurement contracts until they are handed over to the Project Execution Team.

• Develop a tracking system to monitor open order management and milestone accomplishments.

• Acquire high voltage breakers and other essential high voltage equipment in accordance with project specifications.

• Generate supplier performance metrics to objectively assess the effectiveness of active agreements.

• Deliver market intelligence insights to the Operations team and the broader organization.

• Facilitate relationship development initiatives with both new and existing suppliers.

• Aid in securing approvals from the executive team and board for new purchase agreements or amendments.

• Oversee equipment storage when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in procurement, contract management, asset management, operations, or a related field.

• Experience in solar and/or energy storage is preferred.

• Prior experience involving communication with external parties is preferred.
