This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Become a part of a newly formed Technology Squad aimed at enhancing processes and productivity within the bank’s internal departments.
• Facilitate discovery sessions with business units to gain insights into challenges, requirements, and potential improvements.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and information-gathering sessions with stakeholders from various departments.
• Map and evaluate current (AS IS) processes to identify bottlenecks, rework, manual tasks, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
• Design future-state (TO BE) processes, suggesting simplification, standardization, automation, and enhancements in productivity.
• Utilize BPMN or other process-mapping methodologies to model processes.
• Discover opportunities to leverage technology to enhance or automate processes.
• Convert business requirements into functional specifications and business rules for the development team.
• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and other essential artifacts for guiding the development process.
• Collaborate closely with developers, the Product Manager/Product Owner, and other squad members throughout the development lifecycle.
• Address business inquiries during development and assist the team in making informed decisions.
• Engage in backlog refinement, planning, demos, and other agile ceremonies as part of the squad.
• Aid in defining and executing tests and accepting solutions in collaboration with business areas.
• Oversee solution implementation and evaluate the outcomes achieved.
• Establish and track efficiency and productivity metrics for restructured processes.
• Identify ongoing improvement opportunities following the implementation of solutions.
• Assist in documenting processes and developed solutions, contributing to knowledge sharing initiatives.
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Certifications in BPM, Lean, Agile, Business Analysis, or similar fields are advantageous.
• Professional experience in Information Technology, working as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Process Analyst in IT, or in a comparable role.
• Demonstrated experience in gathering and analyzing requirements.
• Proficient in mapping, analyzing, and redesigning processes.
• Familiarity with BPMN and process-modeling tools.
• Experience collaborating closely with software development teams.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable technology requirements.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices.
• Knowledge in developing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Excellent communication skills along with meeting and workshop facilitation abilities.
• Capacity to engage with diverse stakeholders and convey complex concepts between business and technology.
• Experience in BPM / Business Process Management is an added advantage.
• Understanding of Lean, Lean Office, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
• Experience with process automation and/or RPA is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Power BI, advanced Excel, SQL, or data analysis tools is an advantage.
• Experience using Figma, Bizagi, Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or similar software is a plus.
• Involvement in digital transformation projects is an advantage.
• Experience in the financial sector or familiarity with banking processes is beneficial.
• Knowledge of system integrations and APIs is a plus.
• Familiarity with internal productivity-focused products or solutions is an added benefit.
