Pro*C Developer, C/Unix

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Engaging in design, development, and testing activities.

• Supporting the entire life cycle of development processes for service creation.

• Investigating and resolving significant business and technical product integration issues.

• Concentrating on a specific product or technology family across multiple platforms; working independently within a business area while aiding at the enterprise level to influence technical decisions during various project phases.

• Coding, testing, debugging, implementing, and documenting programs.

• Assisting in modifications to company products and/or internal systems to fulfill requirements.

• Collecting information from the system, analyzing program and time requirements, and preparing documentation to alter existing programs.

• Researching and analyzing current systems and program requirements under occasional supervision.

• Designing programs for projects or enhancing existing programs.

• Writing specifications for programs of low to moderate complexity.

• Aiding in the resolution of issues and defects, while developing and proposing alternative solutions to problems.

• Creating test plans to validate the logic of new or modified programs, and identifying issues as necessary.

• Producing relevant documentation for work assignments, including program code and technical documentation.

• Conducting quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.

• Demonstrating expertise in Batch job automation and notification services.

• Possessing experience in complex SQL work and query tuning.

• Having experience in the Member, Managed Care, Provider, Financial, and Claims domains is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience engaging with technical products, vendors, and various technology families.

• Familiarity with product configurations.

• Experience with relevant software packages or classes of packages, and products within the area of technical expertise.
