This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Executes strategies established by leadership to facilitate new product launches, promotional initiatives, and training within the territory.
• Promotes and sells 3M products, including Abrasives, Tapes, Masking Systems, and Safety solutions.
• Provides support to retailers/distributors as well as end-users (home improvement trades) to enhance job-site efficiencies and deliver training on our offerings.
• Delivers pertinent information and product presentations to customers through face-to-face interactions, phone calls, or emails.
• Showcases to customers the effective use of 3M products and how they can add value to their operations.
• Leads and manages interactions with professional painters, contractors, and distributors (retail locations), while engaging key stakeholders at each level.
• Must be prepared to be on-call to address customer needs within your designated area.
• Operates a company vehicle, which necessitates pre-employment and ongoing assessments of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and accepted for this role.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher (must be completed and verified before commencement).
• A current, valid Driver’s License.
• A Master’s degree in business administration from an accredited institution.
• At least three (3) years of territory sales experience in a private, public, government, or military context.
• Proficient presentation skills across diverse customer types and end-users, along with strong data analytics and negotiation abilities.
• Proven experience in translating customer requirements into innovative solutions.
• Capability and willingness to manage multiple customer priorities, self-motivate, and take responsibility for setting and achieving goals.
