This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Perform surveillance on Liability and Workers' Compensation insurance claims.
• Spend extended periods in a vehicle or stationary positions during surveillance, potentially up to 12 hours each day.
• Possess the ability to travel to various locations for investigations, which may include driving, walking, or utilizing public transportation.
• Maintain visual focus during surveillance tasks, often for prolonged durations.
• Navigate diverse environments, including urban, rural, and indoor settings effectively.
• Review and analyze comprehensive reports, including police documentation.
• Write detailed surveillance reports that meet company standards.
• Review video footage to accurately prepare reports.
• Covertly document subjects without detection.
• Search for, locate, and utilize social media throughout the investigative process.
• React swiftly and exercise good judgment in various scenarios that may occur during surveillance.
• Knowledge of pretexting is advantageous.
• Think creatively and outside conventional parameters.
• Must be at least 18 years old, unless otherwise specified by state licensing laws.
• An associate degree or relevant field experience is preferred.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be willing to obtain investigator licensing in your home state.
