This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Perform surveillance on Liability and Workers' Compensation insurance claims.
• Spend extended periods in a vehicle or other stationary positions during surveillance, potentially lasting up to 12 hours a day.
• Travel to various locations for investigations, which may require driving, walking, or using public transportation.
• Maintain visual concentration during surveillance tasks, often for prolonged durations.
• Navigate through different environments, including urban, rural, and indoor settings.
• Review and analyze detailed reports, including police documents.
• Compose comprehensive surveillance reports that meet company standards.
• Review video footage to accurately prepare reports.
• Covertly document subjects without being noticed.
• Utilize social media effectively throughout the investigative process.
• Respond swiftly and apply sound judgment to situations that may occur during surveillance.
• Knowledge of pretexting is advantageous.
• Ability to think creatively and approach challenges from unique angles.
• Must be at least 18 years old, unless stated otherwise by state licensure regulations.
• An associate degree or relevant field experience is preferred.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Willingness to obtain investigator licensing in your home state is required.
