Private Investigator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Perform surveillance on Liability and Workers' Compensation Insurance claims.

• Extended durations of sitting in a vehicle or remaining stationary during surveillance activities – up to 12 hours daily.

• Capability to travel to various locations for investigations, which may involve driving, walking, or utilizing public transportation.

• Maintain visual concentration during surveillance tasks, often for prolonged periods.

• Ability to navigate diverse environments, including urban, rural, and indoor areas.

• Competence in reviewing and analyzing comprehensive reports, as well as police documentation.

• Skill in drafting a detailed surveillance report that meets Company Standards.

• Proficient in reviewing video footage to effectively prepare reports.

• Ability to document a subject covertly without detection.

• Capability to search, locate, and leverage social media throughout the investigative process.

• Capacity to react swiftly and exercise good judgment in scenarios that may occur during surveillance.

• Knowledge of pretexting is preferred.

• Ability to think creatively and develop innovative approaches.

• Must be at least 18 years old – unless otherwise specified by State Licensure Laws.

• An associate degree or relevant field experience is preferred.

• Must successfully pass a background check.

• Must maintain a clean driving record.

• Must be willing to acquire investigator licensing in your home state.

• Detail-oriented and diligent.
