Private Client Compliance – Trust Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• You will take charge of a varied portfolio of trusts and estates, serving as the trusted adviser and primary contact for clients, trustees, and professional intermediaries.

• Oversee a portfolio of UK trusts and estates, ensuring a top-notch client experience.

• Review and supervise trust tax returns along with annual compliance requirements.

• Assess trust accounts to guarantee that all reporting obligations are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.

• Assist Partners and Directors with trust planning, inheritance tax strategies, and broader private client advisory initiatives.

• Handle trust account administration tasks.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and external advisers.

• Provide coaching, mentoring, and development for junior team members, enhancing their technical and commercial capabilities.

• Recognize opportunities to add value and offer proactive advice that significantly impacts clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess substantial experience in managing trusts, estates, and associated tax issues.

• Strong understanding of trust taxation, inheritance tax, and estate administration processes.

• Experience in reviewing trust accounts and overseeing annual trust compliance procedures.

• Excellent skills in client relationship management with the confidence to serve as a trusted adviser.

• Ability to lead, mentor, and develop junior team members.

• CTA, STEP, or an equivalent qualification/experience.
