Privacy and AI Governance Specialist – Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop the AI governance program by outlining phases, designating roles, establishing risk-classification criteria, and creating templates and indicators.

• Manage the OneTrust AI Governance module comprehensively, executing the inventory of AI systems, including registration, updates, and classification.

• Conduct AI impact assessments for the program using templates that comply with the EU AI Act, Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD), and the Brazilian AI Legal Framework (Marco Legal de IA).

• Create and manage approval workflows for new use cases and models, while maintaining algorithmic risk dashboards.

• Map and review Records of Processing Activities (ROPA) in high-volume projects, including the uploading and updating of records in OneTrust.

• Facilitate orientation, information-gathering, and validation meetings with business areas, and initiate the assessment queue in the platform.

• Assist with asset assessments, privacy risk analysis, and handle the privacy account’s daily responsibilities when the primary owner is unavailable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law (completed).

• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks (EU AI Act, the Brazilian AI Legal Framework, and standards such as ISO/IEC 42001 or the NIST AI RMF), evidenced by practical experience or specialized training.

• Capability to establish a program from the ground up: propose the design, create templates, define workflows and metrics—not just executing existing processes.

• Hands-on experience in privacy and data protection, which includes mapping and documenting processing activities and conducting interviews with business units.

• Experience in operating a privacy platform, with a desire to enhance knowledge in OneTrust and its AI Governance module.

• Willingness to work with multiple clients in the same week, without the necessity for full-time commitment.
