Principal/Senior Principal Environmental Scientist – Contaminated Land

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Generate and secure new business through an established seller-doer methodology, facilitating revenue enhancement and market growth.

• Cultivate and expand client relationships within the industrial, government, and resources sectors.

• Oversee and execute intricate contaminated land projects, including high-stakes, high-profile technical assignments such as auditing and expert witness roles.

• Offer strategic environmental guidance on regulatory policies, compliance frameworks, assurance, and remediation strategies.

• Mentor, develop, and lead high-performing multidisciplinary teams, promoting accountability, collaboration, and technical excellence.

• Contribute to the company’s strategy, future planning, and regional growth initiatives both in Australia and internationally.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 20–25 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a strong emphasis on contaminated land.

• Proven seller-doer success, showcasing measurable business development and revenue growth achievements.

• Established leadership capabilities, including delegation, team development, and practice enhancement.

• Technical proficiency in contaminated land remediation, regulatory compliance, EMS, and environmental assurance.

• Excellent client engagement skills and the ability to serve as a trusted advisor.

• A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine passion for shaping culture and fostering long-term business growth.
