Principal Technical Writer

• Collaborate with customer-facing technical teams to design and deliver product information.

• Comprehend business operational objectives and identify tasks that need to be accomplished.

• Create documentation and enablement materials.

• Develop and establish AI documentation generation infrastructure.

• Work together to enhance documentation practices.

• Serve as a domain expert covering various product functionalities.

• Partner with fellow product development leaders.

• Evaluate complex technical features and create/validate code examples.

• Assess and communicate the impact of documentation.

• Guide technical writers in the adoption of AI tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in technical writing for enterprise products.

• Extensive knowledge in developer documentation, including REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, authentication protocols, integration patterns, webhooks, and data models.

• Experience writing for technical decision-makers such as engineering leaders, CTOs, and enterprise architects.

• Proven track record in designing comprehensive documentation strategies.

• Practical experience with AI documentation tools or assessing AI-generated content.

• Strong technical proficiency.

• Demonstrated skill in information architecture for complex product ecosystems.

• Strong systems thinking ability.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the capability to influence product development teams.
