This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and take responsibility for the roadmap pertaining to data center physical security programs, which includes access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, and perimeter protection.
• Convert business and security goals into actionable program plans that yield measurable results.
• Spearhead global projects that encompass new constructions, refurbishments, and operational improvements.
• Oversee comprehensive program execution throughout design, procurement, deployment, and operations phases.
• Manage interdependencies among engineering, construction, compliance, and vendor teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of programs that remain within scope and align with the organization’s risk posture.
• Collaborate with security engineers to create scalable and standardized physical security frameworks.
• Set global design standards for systems, such as CCTV, badge access, biometrics, and monitoring platforms.
• Regularly assess emerging technologies and incorporate enhancements as needed.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate physical security risks across data center settings.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST frameworks).
• Lead audits, incident evaluations, and corrective action initiatives.
• Work in partnership with executive leadership, regional operations, legal, and compliance teams.
• Clearly communicate program progress, risks, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Influence decision-making across various organizational levels.
• Manage interactions with security vendors, integrators, and consultants.
• Supervise RFP processes, vendor selection, and performance oversight.
• Promote cost efficiency without compromising security integrity.
• Over 10 years of experience in technical program management, security engineering, or infrastructure delivery.
• Demonstrated experience managing extensive physical security programs within data centers, critical infrastructure, or analogous environments.
• Profound knowledge of physical security systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and perimeter defense.
• Strong skills in program management, encompassing planning, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in working with global teams and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
• Exceptional communication and executive presentation abilities.
• Experience in hyperscale or colocation data center settings.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC, NIST, etc.).
• Background in construction, facilities engineering, or critical infrastructure.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, CISSP, or PSP (Physical Security Professional).
• Experience in integrating physical security with cybersecurity systems.
