Principal Technical Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Establish and take ownership of the product vision, strategic direction, and roadmap for AI/ML-focused products and data platforms.

• Convert business goals into scalable and reusable AI product functionalities.

• Recognize opportunities for utilizing advanced analytics, machine learning, and generative AI to enhance business outcomes.

• Oversee the product lifecycle from opportunity discovery → proof of concept → minimum viable product → scaling for production.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and platform teams to outline technical requirements and assess architectural trade-offs.

• Facilitate workshops to ensure alignment on priorities, project scope, and trade-offs.

• Propel agile product development, encompassing backlog prioritization and sprint planning.

• Guarantee that solutions comply with enterprise AI governance, security, and regulatory standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in product management.

• More than 10 years in technical product management.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering data science, AI/ML, or analytics products.

• Proven track record of taking products from concept through to production at scale.

• Advanced knowledge of adoption strategies and metrics.

• Strong grasp of the machine learning lifecycle (data preparation, modeling, deployment, monitoring).

• Familiarity with data platforms (cloud solutions, data pipelines, APIs, analytics tools).

• Understanding of AI/GenAI concepts (large language models, prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks).

• Experience in developing enterprise AI platforms or AI-enhanced products, particularly within the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform.

• Knowledge of cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure) and modern data stack technologies.

• Background in regulated industries (insurance, finance, healthcare).

• In-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, Model Risk Management).
