This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take ownership of the overall CAD system architecture for cooling and power platforms.
• Define and uphold modular design strategies that promote reuse, scalability, and change isolation across product families.
• Design model structures that reduce downstream rework by anticipating growth, option expansion, and regional differences.
• Proactively identify and eliminate sources of recurring design issues through architectural enhancements.
• Define and enforce variant logic that accommodates differences in capacity and ratings, redundancy schemes, and regional standards.
• Establish and maintain CAD modeling standards, structural rules, and best practices for all cooling and power systems.
• Act as the primary technical authority during system-level and cross-domain design reviews.
• Collaborate closely with ME CAD, EE CAD, and PLM/configuration roles to ensure that architectural intent is accurately implemented.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent professional background.
• Over 10 years of experience in designing and architecting complex electromechanical systems.
• Demonstrated success in hands-on CAD architecture ownership within multi-variant product settings.
• In-depth understanding of modular design, configuration logic, and lifecycle scalability.
• Capability to work independently as a senior technical authority across various disciplines.
