Principal, Supplier Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee various quality assurance activities to guarantee that products sourced externally meet the quality and technical standards established by Westinghouse.

• Direct teams in creating intricate supplier development program strategies.

• Guide junior oversight staff in carrying out verification tasks.

• Formulate and execute supplier surveillance and oversight strategies.

• Conduct verification and acceptance processes to ensure that products and services align with Westinghouse specifications.

• Draft sections of quality assurance plans, programs, and policies in accordance with existing standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline or a technical field.

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in supplier oversight.

• Preferred qualifications include lead auditor credentials (ANSI 45.2.23/NQA-1) and inspector certification (ANSI N45.2.9/NQA-1).

• Proficient understanding and application of US NRC Regulations and European Standards.

• Knowledge of NDE techniques and relevant practices such as SNT-TC-1A, ESPN / RCC.
