Principal Statistical Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Supervise the development and validation of sophisticated SAS programs that facilitate statistical analysis, data reporting, and essential decision-making throughout clinical studies.

• Collaborate closely with biostatisticians to convert scientific aims into comprehensive analysis plans and guarantee the application of appropriate methodologies.

• Take responsibility for the integrity of statistical outputs by conducting thorough quality control checks to ensure adherence to study requirements and international regulatory standards.

• Play a key role in regulatory submissions, assisting in the preparation of statistical sections for reports, presentations, and documentation intended for global health authorities.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior programmers by sharing best practices, offering technical coaching, and enhancing team capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Significant experience as a statistical programmer in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research sectors.

• Advanced proficiency in SAS programming, coupled with an in-depth understanding of statistical principles and clinical trial data structures.

• A keen analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, thriving in a multidisciplinary setting and enjoying contributions to team achievements.
