This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Assist in the entire investment process, which includes analyzing investment trends, preparing presentation and briefing materials, and performing financial and technical evaluations.
• Aid the leadership team in deal sourcing, conducting due diligence, developing business models, and managing the opportunity pipeline.
• Gather market intelligence at industry events and perform market research using public sources and third-party service providers.
• Coordinate due diligence efforts with corporate and Business Unit functional resources.
• Support portfolio analysis by evaluating capabilities, technologies, and financial metrics against strategic goals and market opportunities.
• Assist in the creation of senior-level briefings, which requires summarizing and conveying insights from detailed analyses at the appropriate level.
• Foster productive working relationships with relevant corporate and business unit functions at RTX.
• Usually requires a University Degree or equivalent experience along with a minimum of 5 years in transactional or strategic roles (e.g., VC/CVC, top-tier investment banking, business/corporate development, consulting).
• An Advanced Degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of the aerospace and defense sectors.
• Experience in transactions, including M&A, joint ventures, minority investments, partnerships, etc.
