This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure that all material and service needs are effectively communicated to suppliers.
• Implement Export/Import requirements, including documentation, reporting, teleconferences, and meetings.
• Conduct thorough analysis of supplier quotes and proposals through intricate cost and price evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions effectively.
• Issue letter subcontracts and purchase orders, while managing contract change processes in EPAD.
• Oversee and report on supplier performance regarding cost, quality, schedule, and material sales.
• Prepare and distribute requests for proposals that adhere to technical, quality, delivery, and FAR specifications.
• Manage desk metrics and play a role in enhancing processes, systems, and products.
• Handle a high-volume procurement desk, consistently meeting accuracy and performance standards.
• Execute firm-fixed-price, letter subcontract, and cost-type purchase orders in compliance with FAR/DFARS.
• Actively manage suppliers to ensure timely delivery, oversight, and recovery actions.
• Present root cause analyses and corrective actions to leadership based on metrics and supplier challenges.
• Formulate negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiation sessions.
• Work collaboratively with Program, Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Program Management teams.
• Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
• A university degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience.
• Prior experience in procurement is essential.
• Must possess the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Preferred: Experience in Cross-Functional Teams, Integrated Product Teams, project, or program management.
• Preferred: A Master’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field.
• Preferred: Familiarity with FAR/DFARS or other heavily regulated sectors.
• Preferred: Experience with Cost Plus and Firm Fixed Price contract types.
• Preferred: Knowledge in FAR 15.4 cost/pricing analysis and competitive procurement.
• Preferred: Experience in reviewing technical requirements and Statements of Work.
• Preferred: Understanding of ITAR and import/export compliance.
• Preferred: Experience in complex military assembly procurement.
• Preferred: Experience in negotiating terms and conditions.
• Preferred: Experience in an SAP-based environment.
• Preferred: Experience in supplier recovery efforts.
