This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of proposals for new business opportunities, including spare parts, repairs, and modernization efforts.
• Collaborate with program team members across various functions to comprehend, guide, and support contractual obligations.
• Offer contractual guidance and assistance to the business, programs, and proposal teams throughout all stages of the contract lifecycle.
• Oversee Contracts Management activities across a diverse portfolio.
• Work alongside Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure successful contract execution.
• Identify, mitigate, and resolve contractual challenges.
• Ensure that negotiated terms and conditions align with company policies.
• Provide advice on contractual and business matters, including rights and obligations, as well as contractual and programmatic risks.
• Build and sustain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Communicate with customers regarding correspondence, contractual modifications, and related issues.
• Manage contracts while engaging directly with program leadership.
• Support the development and production-focused contracts for domestic, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and subcontractor requirements.
• Assist in business management reviews, including quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) assessments.
• A University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience.
• Experience in contracts management, program management, business management, finance, and/or supply chain processes and procurement.
• Familiarity with contracts, terms and conditions, Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotes (RFQs), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), or similar agreements.
• Extensive experience in contract negotiations, execution, and administration.
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
• Ability to apply analytical skills and critical thinking to solve complex problems.
• Understanding of the financial aspects of contracts and risk assessment.
• Experience with intellectual property, licensing agreements, or teaming agreements.
• Familiarity with the Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act.
• U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information related to this program/contract.
• Must reside and work in one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories.
