Principal Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Wiz’s CTO, Field CTO, Customer Success, Product Management, and R&D teams to ensure alignment and coordinated efforts throughout the sales process.

• Provide pertinent technical and business insights to Product Management based on field engagements, aimed at enhancing Wiz’s positioning and value messaging for prospects and clients.

• Work alongside Wiz sales teams on strategic initiatives to showcase the business and technical advantages of the Wiz platform.

• Support Sales Engineers and prospects during the Proof of Concept process with advanced use cases, installation/deployment, and troubleshooting.

• Conduct regular thought leadership sessions with field teams, sharing insights and strategies gained from customer interactions to enhance our effectiveness in messaging and delivering value to potential and current clients.

• Aid in articulating and selling the Wiz platform capabilities to both prospects and customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong technical foundation with a comprehensive understanding of core IT, InfoSec, Cloud, and DevOps principles.

• Demonstrated expertise and experience with a career trajectory centered on public cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Subject Matter Expert level knowledge of Kubernetes and containers, with the capability to architect and troubleshoot complex environments.

• Proficient in leading discussions tailored to different audiences, including technical, business, and executive levels.

• Enthusiastic about continuous self-improvement and learning to uphold technical leadership.

• Experience and proficiency in coding and understanding developer workflows, including Git, CI/CD, Helm, Terraform, etc.

• Practical experience in deploying and troubleshooting various Kubernetes distributions.

• Solid comprehension of computer networking concepts, along with hands-on experience in cloud networking.

• Comfortable facilitating security architecture discussions with diverse audiences.

• Familiarity with ASM methodologies, network reconnaissance, cloud security, and vulnerability assessments.

• Proficiency in an additional European language is an advantage.
