Principal Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Comprehend the technologies, limitations, and challenges related to application security and cloud security initiatives.

• Grasp the customer's business, security, and compliance difficulties.

• Align Veracode solutions with the customer's business and technical requirements.

• Showcase the Veracode platform, its value proposition, and technology to prospects, customers, and partners.

• Complete requests for proposals (RFPs), security questionnaires, and third-party security attestations.

• Present Veracode’s vision, strategy, and product roadmaps to executive and technical management teams.

• Offer customer-focused feedback to internal product development teams to shape the future of Veracode solutions.

• Engage in industry and channel conferences/events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in the information security or development operations sector.

• Proven experience in positioning and selling enterprise applications, systems management, and/or business continuity solutions.

• Desired experience in Application Penetration Assessment (including URL manipulation, SQL injection, cross-site scripting, back-end authentication, password management in memory, session hijacking, buffer overflow, web server configuration, credential management, Clickjacking, etc.).

• Practical experience with Snyk, Checkmarx, GitHub Advanced Security, and open-source tools.

• Familiarity with Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and CNAPP solutions.

• Knowledge in penetration testing, vulnerability scanning and assessments, security architecture, application development, and compliance standards such as HIPAA, PCI, ISO/COBIT, and FISMA.

• Experience in SDLC, integration, application servers, database architecture, and network architecture is preferred.

• Knowledge of shell scripting & Perl, Java, and .NET (C# and ASP.NET) is advantageous.

• Strong skills in customer engagement and relationship building.

• Capability to identify business challenges and create tailored solutions to address those challenges.

• Pre-sales experience with large enterprises and independent software vendors (ISVs) is a plus.

• Willingness to travel as required.
