This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise the deployment and administration of containerized applications using Kubernetes, ensuring peak performance and availability.
• Engage in strategic planning to adapt infrastructure solutions in alignment with the needs of Data Center partners.
• Direct the design, implementation, and upkeep of scalable and dependable systems on AWS and/or on-premises.
• Employ Terraform for infrastructure as code to streamline the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
• Monitor system performance and uptime, guaranteeing that systems fulfill established service level objectives (SLOs).
• Support SOC2 security compliance standards for data management.
• Mentor and guide team members in DevOps methodologies, fostering a culture of reliability and excellence.
• Promote the automation of operational tasks to improve efficiency and minimize manual intervention.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Diagnose and resolve intricate production issues, conducting root cause analysis and executing corrective measures.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response teams.
• Assist in capacity planning, performance optimization, and technical decision-making.
• Propel continuous improvement initiatives for processes and infrastructure.
• 8+ years of development experience, including significant expertise in platform engineering, SRE, or distributed systems, demonstrating clear senior or principal-level impact.
• Experience in designing and managing infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Strong expertise in container orchestration, particularly with Kubernetes.
• Proficient in AWS services and architecture.
• Practical experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, or similar) and observability best practices.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of driving technical outcomes.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
