Principal Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Oversees the comprehensive design and development of software solutions, encompassing both back-end and integration components.

• Works collaboratively with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to establish technical requirements, project scope, and deliverables.

• Offers technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, nurturing a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.

• Guides architectural decisions and ensures compliance with coding standards, best practices, and principles of software quality.

• Creates and maintains application frameworks, libraries, and reusable components to enhance development efficiency.

• Partners with cross-functional teams to pinpoint and resolve technical challenges, performance enhancements, and scalability issues.

• Advises and mentors engineers on technical design, coding practices, and system architecture, fostering professional growth and skill enhancement.

• Remains informed about emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, promoting the adoption of new tools and methodologies.

• Conducts code reviews and provides constructive feedback to ensure code quality, maintainability, and system reliability.

• Acts as a technical ambassador, representing the Company at industry events, conferences, and technical communities, while sharing knowledge and insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a proven history of leading the design and development of intricate software systems, utilizing microservice architectures on contemporary application stacks.

• More than 10 years of experience with JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#, and proficiency in development frameworks and technologies, with a preference for the .NET ecosystem.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Advanced technical certifications are advantageous.

• Profound understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system scalability, with practical experience in creating large-scale, distributed applications.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, capable of addressing complex technical challenges and proposing effective solutions.

• Demonstrated experience in influencing technical decisions, establishing technical direction, and aligning engineering initiatives with business objectives.

• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, with the capacity to inspire and direct a team of engineers towards achieving technical excellence.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and the presentation of technical concepts to varied audiences.
