Principal Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Define and steer the technical strategy for innovative, cloud-native applications developed with Flutter for both web and mobile platforms.

• Collaborate closely with product teams, architectural leads, and engineering management.

• Make informed and impactful design choices that weigh speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.

• Stay actively involved with critical-path systems while providing mentorship to senior and staff engineers.

• Set clear expectations regarding reliability, security, performance, and operability.

• Enhance engineering standards, speed up delivery, and cultivate a culture of craftsmanship, learning, and ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional experience in software development, including hands-on Agile delivery of enterprise-scale, distributed systems.

• More than 5 years of experience in developing user-facing applications utilizing Flutter, Angular, and/or React across web and mobile platforms.

• At least 3 years of experience in designing and building solutions within a public cloud environment (GCP, Azure, or similar).

• A minimum of 3 years applying best practices for security, availability, resiliency, scalability, and performance in production systems.

• Experience in designing or integrating AI or generative AI solutions, including APIs, models, or platforms.

• Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and influence engineering direction without relying on formal authority.
