This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the lead architect and principal developer of our core banking technology.
• Oversee a diverse team of engineers, establishing coding standards, performing peer reviews, and mentoring team members.
• Spearhead the design and implementation of internal APIs to facilitate smooth data flow within the technology ecosystem.
• Advocate for the adoption of AI tools to automate repetitive coding tasks, produce documentation, and reduce time-to-market for new features.
• Create automated testing frameworks to ensure banking-grade reliability and maintain system integrity.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to shift from manual deployments to efficient, automated delivery cycles.
• Develop and sustain the technology roadmap for internal applications to align with the bank’s current and future business requirements.
• Collaborate closely with IT operations, cybersecurity, innovation, and business units to ensure the successful execution of software initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Over 5 years of practical experience in developing APIs and integration services within a regulated enterprise setting, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong commitment to a "People First" approach and capability.
• Proficient in modern programming languages and frameworks, particularly Node.js, React.js, and TypeScript, with the ability to contribute directly to the codebase.
• Extensive knowledge in designing and implementing secure API layers and microservices to connect core banking systems with third-party software.
• Skilled in utilizing AI tools to speed up the software development life cycle (SDLC) and improve code quality.
• Solid understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and contemporary software methodologies such as Agile and DevOps.
• Expert in full-stack development (e.g., React/Angular for front-end, Node.js/Python/C# for back-end).
• Profound experience with REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
• Familiarity with DevOps/CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes) and Agile tools like Jira.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) to enhance engineering velocity.
• Exceptional skills with a demonstrated capacity to manage multiple complex software projects simultaneously.
