This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design and construction of internal tools and delivery patterns that enhance software development and deployment efficiency.

• Design and optimize custom CI/CD pipelines to automate standard engineering and operational processes.

• Integrate with tools like Argo CD and Argo Rollouts to facilitate automated, reliable, and progressive deployments.

• Establish repeatable patterns for building, releasing, deploying, and managing infrastructure workflows that can scale across various teams.

• Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, platform engineering, and technical leaders to identify challenges and develop practical solutions.

• Assist teams in embracing new tools, processes, and methodologies, ensuring that changes are comprehensible and easy to implement.

• Contribute to defining effective engineering practices related to automation, deployment, infrastructure as code, and operational readiness.

• Serve as a mentor and technical partner for teams, aiding engineers in gaining confidence with new tools and delivery processes.

• Balance hands-on technical contributions with the capacity to influence, communicate, and drive change throughout the organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in software engineering, DevOps, and platform engineering environments.

• Demonstrated ability to construct or enhance CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions or similar tools.

• Proficient experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code.

• Solid understanding of AWS, including the ability to create secure, scalable, and automated cloud environments.

• Familiarity with Argo CD, Argo Rollouts, or comparable deployment automation tools.

• Capability to design scalable, repeatable patterns instead of isolated solutions for individual teams.

• Comfortable collaborating with engineering teams to grasp their needs, challenge existing workflows, and implement practical improvements.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical changes to various audiences.

• Experience in leading change within engineering teams, including the adoption of new tools, processes, and standards.

• A mentoring mindset, with the ability to engage others rather than working in isolation.
