📋 Description

• Act as the principal security consultant during intricate customer sales processes, providing support to Sales and Business Development teams throughout the deal lifecycle and to internal stakeholders.

• Spearhead security conversations with clients, effectively communicating the design and security benefits of the Vultr platform, which includes hypervisor isolation, infrastructure protection, and network segmentation.

• Aid in RFP, RFQ, and security due diligence responses by clearly showcasing the technical superiority and security capabilities of the Vultr platform, and completing customer questionnaires or other necessary documentation accordingly.

• Tackle advanced technical security inquiries and objections that go beyond the traditional scope of Sales Engineering teams.

• Convey the Vultr Security Stack, which encompasses compute isolation, infrastructure security controls, network architecture, and platform resilience.

• Perform customer security control mapping to security frameworks and privacy regulations.

• Deliver in-depth technical validation for enterprise clients, ensuring security architecture requirements are fulfilled during the procurement and technical evaluation phases.

• Support Sales teams in expediting deal closure by eliminating technical hurdles and offering authoritative security guidance.

• Conduct security architecture presentations and technical workshops for customers, partners, and executive stakeholders.

• Work in conjunction with Engineering and Infrastructure teams to accurately reflect and support customer security needs.

• Contribute to the creation of security documentation, reference architectures, and technical materials that reinforce customer trust and regulatory compliance.

• Engage in security assessments and proof-of-concept evaluations for key customer deployments.

• Offer subject matter expertise on GPU-based compute infrastructure, high-performance cloud computing, and secure sovereign cloud implementations.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, security teams, and technical leadership during the evaluation and procurement stages.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Product, Infrastructure, Engineering, Security, and senior leadership, to ensure cohesive messaging and technical alignment.

• Contribute to the formulation of security positioning strategies for regulated sectors, such as government, healthcare, and financial services.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in cloud security, security architecture, or technical security advisory roles within cloud infrastructure or technology providers.

• Extensive experience engaging with customers in technical sales situations, particularly in cloud infrastructure or enterprise technology contexts.

• Strong grasp of cloud compute infrastructure, GPU-based workloads, and high-performance computing settings.

• Comprehensive understanding of physical security measures in data center and cloud infrastructure environments, including facility access management, surveillance systems, hardware protection, and environmental safeguards.

• In-depth knowledge of IaaS security architectures, covering hypervisor isolation, infrastructure segmentation, identity and access controls, and network security frameworks.

• Experience in supporting enterprise RFP submissions and technical validation processes.

• Capability to address intricate technical objections and influence customer security decisions during procurement phases.

• Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical stakeholders and executive leadership.

• Strong writing skills for internal documentation, customer security responses, and executive briefings.

• Experience working collaboratively across cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and executive leadership.

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Ability to translate complex technical security concepts into clear and engaging narratives for customers.
