Principal SAP Procurement Consultant – Ariba

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, architecture, and implementation of SAP Ariba solutions for various client projects.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders in both business and technology fields.

• Conduct workshops to gather client business needs and outline target-state procurement processes.

• Offer thought leadership in areas such as Source-to-Pay, Procurement Transformation, Supplier Lifecycle Management, and Strategic Sourcing.

• Direct solution design, configuration strategy, testing, deployment, and post-launch support tasks.

• Promote the adoption of best practices across SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA Procurement, and SAP Business Network solutions.

• Mentor and assist both junior and senior consultants within the Procurement practice.

• Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations, proposal creation, and client presentations.

• Discover opportunities for process enhancement and innovation in client environments.

• Aid in business development efforts and foster long-term client relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of SAP consulting experience with a strong focus on Procurement and Supply Chain solutions.

• Significant hands-on experience in delivering SAP Ariba implementations.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing, SAP Ariba Sourcing, SAP Ariba Contracts, SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, and SAP Business Network.

• Strong grasp of procurement business processes and Source-to-Pay best practices.

• Experience in integrating SAP Ariba with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.

• Proven capability to lead workshops and engage with executive-level stakeholders.

• Exceptional consulting, communication, and presentation skills.

• Experience leading project streams or serving as a solution lead on complex transformation programs.

• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement is highly desirable.

• Experience with SAP Fieldglass is highly desirable.

• Experience in SAP Signavio process transformation is highly desirable.

• SAP Activate methodology certification is highly desirable.

• SAP Ariba and/or SAP Procurement certifications are highly desirable.

• Experience in contributing to pre-sales and business development activities is highly desirable.
