This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Manage sales compensation plans alongside key stakeholders to guarantee timely and accurate performance calculations and sales compensation disbursements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the Sales team: investigate and resolve commission-related questions from the Sales team (e.g., system access challenges, transaction disputes, credits, and payment calculations).
• Validate calculations, commission rates, metrics, and participate in audits.
• Collaborate with the Sr Manager to create Governance Board presentations.
• Work with Finance and Sales Operations to gather results for incentive calculation purposes.
• Conduct analysis to assess the impacts on the company and individuals regarding any proposed changes to incentive plans for the Agency line of business.
• Utilize market trends to inform Sales Incentive plans that enhance employee retention rates.
• Carry out external benchmarking studies to assess the effectiveness of our plan.
• Analyze relevant market trends, data, and perform feasibility studies to recommend necessary adjustments, enhancements, and exceptions to the compensation program to leadership.
• Partner with People Business Partners and Payroll teams to manage new hires, terminations, and transfers; ensure new hires are set up according to plan policies and procedures.
• Support monthly and quarterly analyses to evaluate compensation plan performance, including budget variances and the relationship between results and payouts for individual contributors and managers.
• Monitor compensation plan outcomes and evaluate the effectiveness of the sales incentive plan in meeting business objectives and strategies.
• Actively engage with Sales Business Groups to foster improvements through organizational knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of business performance.
• Contribute to the recommendation process by providing insights and modeling for stakeholder reviews and future design cycles.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5+ years of direct experience in sales compensation administration.
• Strong understanding of incentive plan structures (quotas, accelerators, pay mix, on-target earnings, excellence, pay for performance) and associated tools.
• Proven track record in creating, proposing, and implementing Sales Incentive Plans within large organizations (preferably in SaaS business models).
• Advanced Excel proficiency: model building, advanced formulas and arrays, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
• Strong customer service orientation with the capability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels to resolve issues.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities, including data manipulation and modeling.
• A curious mindset and proactive approach; skilled at interpreting data and clearly conveying messages.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to cultivate key relationships across the organization at all levels.
• Ability to perform under tight deadlines.
• Strategic mindset to foresee potential challenges and propose innovative solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Willingness to complete tasks and attend meetings outside of standard work hours to meet tight deadlines and communicate information to the global team promptly.
