This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Conduct descriptive and advanced statistical analyses utilizing extensive patient and/or claims databases.
• Develop analytical studies, protocols, methods, pricing impacts, and health economic models.
• Aid in the creation of concept proposals, scopes of work, budgets, and analysis plans.
• Independently oversee workflow and actively contribute to the research and analysis processes.
• Collaborate within and across organizational analytics teams to uncover opportunities for innovation for clients.
• BA/BS or higher in computer science, economics, mathematics, statistics, data science, epidemiology, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in SAS or SQL programming.
• Proficient in analyzing extensive administrative pharmacy and medical claims databases (both public and private).
• Skilled in importing, transforming, cleaning, merging, and editing data.
• Familiarity with advanced statistical techniques and/or econometric methodologies.
• Capable of independently managing multiple work streams with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven problem-solving, analytical reasoning, and decision-making skills.
• Strong dedication to achieving goals and meeting deadlines.
• Positive, adaptable, and self-driven demeanor, with excellent teamwork capabilities and the ability to thrive in a multi-disciplinary setting.
• Comfortable operating in a remote/hybrid work environment with a demonstrated capacity for productivity and self-direction.
