Principal Product Manager, Mortgage Originations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement product strategies that set Experian's mortgage credit solutions apart and foster revenue growth.

• Act as Experian's representative in mortgage industry forums, working groups, and standards organizations (such as MISMO), offering thought leadership and enhancing industry credibility.

• Oversee the planning and execution of intricate product launches, which include positioning, client readiness, sales enablement, onboarding, and adoption.

• Collaborate with Sales on go-to-market strategies, joint selling initiatives, and product training.

• Engage with senior leaders at Experian, as well as clients, resellers, and partners, to instill confidence in the product strategy and its execution.

• Utilize market intelligence and P&L analysis to prioritize investments and support strategies for target accounts and markets.

• Ensure that products adhere to relevant regulatory and compliance standards across a diverse client base, which includes startups, credit unions, large financial institutions, GSEs, regulators, and resellers.

• Lead customer engagement initiatives and drive product messaging and positioning.

• Travel up to 15% to support client interactions, industry events, and internal meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree

• 12+ years of product management experience delivering products throughout the entire lifecycle

• 5+ years of extensive experience in consumer credit within the mortgage sector, including products delivered via direct and reseller channels

• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence amidst regulatory, market, and organizational complexities

• Proven ability to operate effectively within large, matrixed organizations

• Capable of defining business strategy and mobilizing cross-functional teams toward shared objectives
