Principal Product Manager – Connected Devices

📋 Description

• Lead the vision and implementation of AI-enhanced vision and safety hardware.

• Establish and communicate the product's vision clearly.

• Manage New Product Introductions (NPIs) from concept to execution.

• Balance trade-offs involving AI computing, installation experience, design, battery life, and connectivity.

• Identify and prioritize firmware functionalities.

• Create comprehensive PRDs and technical specifications.

• Collaborate with various product, engineering, and market teams.

• Define and evaluate performance metrics.

• Ensure readiness for market launch.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in product management.

• Proven track record of owning at least one complete hardware NPI that achieved significant volume (ideally over 100K units).

• Strong technical proficiency in full-stack IoT products.

• Extensive knowledge of Edge AI and camera technologies.

• Demonstrated capability to lead complex, cross-functional projects.

• High emotional intelligence with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

• Customer-centric mindset combined with data-driven insights.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• BA/BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related technical discipline.
