Principal Product Designer, FinTech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely across various disciplines to identify and implement features that fulfill genuine user requirements.

• Simplify complex concepts into straightforward, clear workflows.

• Design with a focus on achieving optimal outcomes.

• Foster trust and teamwork with peers in product, engineering, and design while enhancing the quality standards organization-wide.

• Facilitate design reviews, improve our feedback collection methods, and refine decision-making processes.

• Continuously encourage fellow designers to elevate their skills and clarity in design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience with a comprehensive understanding of the entire 0-1 product development lifecycle—from product planning and discovery to concepts, build-ready designs, and prototypes.

• Significant expertise in FinTech sectors with a product emphasis on spend management, card issuance, bill payment, insights, and more.

• Strong foundational skills in UX and a track record of developing entirely new products.

• Exceptional abilities in visual, interaction, and UX design, prioritizing simplicity, utility, and user satisfaction.

• Demonstrated experience in managing stakeholders in collaboration with PMs, engineers, data teams, and executives.

• Proficiency in contemporary design tools such as Figma, design systems, and emerging AI technologies like Pencil / Cursor.

• Excellent communication and storytelling capabilities—you can articulate not only what you designed but also the rationale behind it.

• Strategic influence with proven experience in shaping design strategies.

• A portfolio is required (including password if necessary).
