This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead impactful, cross-departmental initiatives including platform migrations and transformations.
• Lead initiatives such as cloud migrations (e.g., AWS to GCP), advancing architecture while maintaining continuity across all product and platform teams.
• Align cross-platform architecture.
• Establish consistent evolution of services, APIs, and platform capabilities across teams.
• Collaborate with internal platform teams to outline requirements for CI/CD, testing, deployment, and developer workflows.
• Ensure proper adoption of platform changes across services, maintaining clear contracts and minimizing friction.
• Propel architectural initiatives that cut across multiple domains.
• Manage large-scale projects that affect several teams and systems (e.g., migrations, re-architectures, platform shifts).
• Evaluate the impact across the entire software ecosystem and develop clear execution strategies.
• Decompose complex transitions into actionable plans for various teams.
• Act as a bridge between platform, infrastructure, and product teams.
• Facilitate execution across teams.
• Assist teams during significant transitions by offering guidance, best practices, and hands-on support.
• Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder adoption or delivery.
• Solid software engineering foundation.
• Experience in constructing and evolving intricate distributed systems involving multiple teams.
• Capacity to analyze system interactions, APIs, and integration points at scale.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale technical transformations.
• Demonstrated success in driving migrations or cross-functional initiatives (e.g., cloud migration, architectural evolution).
• Understanding of cloud platforms (GCP preferred), Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
• Strong grasp of cloud platforms.
• Ability to evaluate impact across numerous services and teams.
• Excellent capability to make trade-offs among teams, systems, and timelines.
• Proven track record of influencing without formal authority and fostering alignment across organizations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across diverse technical domains.
