This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana, +4 more states.
• Accountable for the recruitment and contracting of national ancillary providers, which includes large or complex dialysis, laboratory, home infusion, and durable medical equipment providers, for all HCSC plans and lines of business.
• Create proposals and negotiate contracts.
• Establish and nurture relationships with providers.
• Responsible for educating providers and delivering ongoing support services.
• Offer subject matter expertise to enhance efficiencies and outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience in provider contracting OR a Master’s degree and 3 years of contracting experience OR 8 years of business experience that includes 4 years of provider contracting experience.
• Experience in contracting includes negotiating reimbursements, financial arrangements, and rates.
• Comprehensive knowledge of provider and facility contracting, products, and claims/processing systems.
• Strong negotiation abilities.
• Skills in building and maintaining relationships.
• Awareness of the marketplace.
• Ability to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with all levels of corporate personnel and providers.
• Proficient in PC usage, including Microsoft Office.
• Analytical skills and business acumen to evaluate financial data to assess the financial impact of negotiations.
• Willingness and ability to travel within assigned areas of responsibility, including overnight stays.
