Principal iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• You will be tasked with the further enhancement and architecture of our core products, primarily our native iOS SDK, and occasionally our end-user facing customer applications, as well as cross-platform deliveries.

• Take full responsibility for delivering new features and fixes, from the initial idea through the design phase to the public release.

• You will write clean, comprehensible, and well-documented code, understanding that your modifications affect numerous well-known applications in the app store and significantly influence the experience of a substantial number of daily unique end-users utilizing our SDK.

• Participate in troubleshooting issues alongside our customers.

• Collaborate with the entire R&D team and the company as a whole to develop meaningful features.

• Organize your own workload by managing your time, prioritizing tasks, and taking ownership of relevant topics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in developing iOS applications using Swift.

• Strong grasp of software design patterns and iOS-specific knowledge.

• Capable of working on large-scale projects.

• Passionate about delivering high-quality software.

• Business-oriented and results-driven individual.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, as you will be part of a high-performing team working in a distributed environment.

• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).

• Proficient in Test Automation, including writing Unit and Integration tests.

• Familiarity with Android basics and architecture.

• Experience with Digital Identities or Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

• Proven track record in developing SDKs and Frameworks.

• Additional experience and qualifications that are beneficial include:

• A passion for open source.

• Knowledge of Ruby (Fastlane).

• Experience with cross-platform frameworks is a plus (React Native, Flutter, Cordova).
